Jean-Pierre Rives well known for his world famous exploits as Captain of the French Rugby team in the 70’s is now equally well known on the contemporary art scene in France and internationally as a sculptor. Working mostly in steel his work in reminiscent of Anthony Caro the british sculptor.
While better know for his sculptures, Jean-Pierre donated this painting in support of a fund raising drive for Scoil Cormac in Cashel Co Tipperary._ Artisan Frames were proud to be asked to donate a frame for this work.

I recently got a pair of original Eero Saarinen tulip stools in pretty sad condition. 1956 design.
I stripped back the bases and re-sprayed them in a cool gloss white and re upholstered the tops in a lime green material.
I love them!

We don't get many works on paper this size, but this was a beauty. An original silk screen print from 1925, 8ft tall  x 5ft wide which we made a box frame for and glazed with perspex for the home of a private client.
