Minihan: a celebration of film photography Renowned Irish photographer John Minihan is returning to the Village with his new exhibition featuring 27 images spanning over 50 years of film photography. “Life through 2 ¼ ². A celebration of film photography”

This exhibition features iconic photographic works from... the world of fashion, art and film from Andy Warhol to Yves Saint Laurent. Spanning over 50 years, John’s portraits capture the character through individual and are all the more poignant because many of the people exhibited have universal appeal.

This collection of truly iconic photography is the most comprehensive show of John’s work to date. Visitors will be treated to images from the beginning of John’s career back in 1962 to his most recent portrait shot of Shane MacGowan whom he photographed only last month.

A celebration of film photography” opens on Thursday 15th March 2012 and will run until the end of April. Entry is free of charge and the prints will be available to purchase from the exhibition. The gallery space is located in Unit 10 beside the Asics boutique. For further information please contact our Tourist Information Centre on +353 45 520501.
