Artisan Box Frames
Box frames. A box frame is where a spacer (called a fillett) is placed between the glass and the work keeping the glass away from the surface. The way in which we present the work is either by raising and floating or “Laying on” an Image. See mounting section .
We can make a box frame from practically any kind of moulding and this method is a very contemporary way of framing artwork. Framing TrendsProbably our most popular type of box frame is made in a tall ash profile which is hard wearing and can be finished either in a natural finish ( It's a beautiful wood all on its own), whitened or stained to a different colour.
