FINE ART FRAMING - ARTIST'S PICTURE FRAMERS
Artisan Frames offer a bespoke frames for artists looking for standard,off standard and hand finished frames. We frame both traditional and contemporary art in all mediums specialising in contemporary framing in lots of design formats.
We use a variety of hardwoods and softwoods, which we finish at our workshop to your requirement. We also specialise in oversize Art work both under glass and Perspex.
We now carry DenGlass which is 92% non reflective and not the ugly diffused variety available at most framers!
We offer a delivery service for complete exhibitions and extra large works.

SALES
Correct frame selection allows artworks to be viewed in the best possible and most professional way. This can mean a lot when depending on sales as poorly framed works often return home with the artist when the exhibition finishes and comes down. We carry a wide variety of unfinished moulding profiles from Ireland and the U.K allowing a greater choice in colour and finish. As hardwoods are now very popular in the home we have available profiles in Oak, Ash, Maple, Cherry Beech and Walnut helping to incorporate art works back into office or home environment. We guarantee the integrity of all our work and offer a no quibble policy for change of frame on anything that is found to be sub standard. CONSERVATION FRAMING
Conservation framing is probably the most important starting point for the care of precious work. Problems such as Foxing and Acid burns can become commonplace where this technique has not been employed. Prevention with the use of acid free materials such as mountboard, tapes for hinging and installation of art works aswell as sealing the glass to the mount stops unsightly dust particles and bugs appearing in the viewing area of the picture. Increasing the longevity of precious works,whether original paintings or the last remaining photograph of a family member, is achieved through this process.

EXHIBITIONS
We frame complete exhibitions for artists and galleries all over the country and offer a delivery service for the completed work straight back to the artist or direct to the gallery.

READYMADE FRAMES
We stock a range of frames suitable for both paintings and photography. These are available in standard sizes and are available to take away or have fitted up here on the premises. Very handy for those in a rush and a cheaper alternative to having frames specially made.

CONTRACT SALES
Do you have a quantity of pictures to frame? We have a large selection of contact mouldings we use for hotels, office suites,bars and apartment complexes to facilitate large jobs. This enables us to have a very keen pricing policy when work needs to come in on a budget while maintaining quality.

We will also hang the work where required.
