Hand Finished Frames

At Artisan Frames we carry a wide range of finished mouldings but specialise in hand finished frames. Each frame is made by bespoke, to customer requirements. 
All of our frames are tailor made to each individual artwork and to get the best results we offer a large choice of finishes including: Beautiful natural wood stains, coloured washes and waxes on a variety of profiles.Coloured lacquers with a selection of sheen levels, shellacs and polishes.

We are able to achieve an exclusive finish, which is truly unique.  

Traditional & Contemporary hand gilded frames

We use traditional Italian chalk gesso and coloured clay boles overlaid with select colours, or precious metals such as gold and silver leaf along with white, green and red gold as well as platinum.
Each frame is custom made creating a luxurious finish.
