Patrick Scott Box original print frame.

Patrick Scott is perhaps one of Ireland's best known artists and his carborundum and gold leaf prints are indicative of the painters approach to his work. Framing this large at 1.5M x 1.63M work was a challenge and a delight.
We chose a large box frame both for strength and presence which we finished with gesso and a linen coloured clay. On the inner rebate we gilded the lip allowing the broken leaf to show the red bole coming through to echo the gilded panels in the print.
