We are often asked if we can clean pictures before framing them, and our advice is always the same. Leave it to the experts! Restorers often specialise in certain areas such as works on paper or oil painting so it is important to choose the correct person for the job.
We can make an assessment of the type of work that needs to be carried out and then have your picture taken to the most appropriate restorer to have them cleaned properly of repaired if required.
